Beauvais sur Tescou
Beauvais sur Tescou was founded in 1342 by Jean de Marigny, bishop of Beauvais.
This bastide never realised the development that was expected at its inception.
However, even though the houses are scattered one can still detect the plan of a medieval bastide.
The chateau that was for centuries the residence of the Bishop of Montauban dates from the 16 century
"a vaste rectangular construction flanked by 4 towers, two round and the other two square."
